This page explains how you can delete your Sauntera account and associated data. You can request deletion in the app (recommended) or from this webpage if you no longer have access to the app or device.
Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.
Delete your account In the app
- Open the Sauntera app and make sure you’re signed in.
- Go to Profile → Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account and follow the on-screen confirmation steps.
If you don’t see this option, you can request deletion from this page instead.

Send us a deletion request via email using one of the options below:

Identity verification: We may ask you to verify your request (for example, by replying from the same email, confirming the phone number on the account, or completing a one-time code challenge) to protect your data.
What will be deleted?
- Your Sauntera account (Firebase Auth user)
- Profile data (e.g., name, avatar)
- Favorites / saved ideas and lists
- In-app preferences and settings (e.g., filters, location choices)
- Identifiers we store for app functionality (e.g., Firebase Installation ID)
What may be retained and why?
- Purchase records and refund logs (Google Play Billing data, receipts, and anti-fraud records) — retained for up to 7 years as required by tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention laws.
- Aggregated, non-identifiable analytics (if any) — retained without personal identifiers, for product performance and safety.
- Legal holds — if we are required to retain certain information to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements, we will keep only what is strictly necessary and for as long as required.
How long does it take?
We begin processing immediately and aim to complete deletion within 30 days. Some backups may take up to 90 days to expire from our disaster-recovery systems. Records required for legal or fraud-prevention purposes may be retained as noted above.
Can I download my data first?
If you’d like an export (e.g., saved ideas), mention this in your request and we’ll assist where feasible before deletion.
